First of all we have to know that Trustworthiness is a value that we all need to have with people that are in our life trustworthiness is the action of believing, to have faith or trusting in something or someone.
Thankful is another value that is so important, thankful is to show gratitude to people. Well the way in what this two values are reflected in the story are very evident and clear.
The value trustworthiness is reflected in the story is that none of the characters there can be trust, you can’t trust in the devil because is the devil but in a wrong way Tom trusted in the devil when he accepted the deal selling his soul to the devil.
Things started to go well for a couple of years, the time was over when the devil got the time to collect the dept. In the story also they talked about his relationship with his wife, they had a bad and toxic relationships they also cheat on each other and there weren’t trust between them. Tom’s wife also hid a lot of their valuable things and didn’t tell Tom where the things were, there was no trust.
The way the value Thankful reflected was when Tom was grateful with the Devil because he killed his wife, in the story does not say it exactly but the devil is supposed to have done it. Another situation in where the value thankful is reflected is when the devil give a lot of money to Tom and made him rich and a money lender, this value was not put in practice because his wife never was grateful with him for all things he made for her. From this story we have to learn that we have no put in practice with people we love.
